Milton Hershey School offers a top-notch education and positive home life to children in pre-kindergarten through 12th grade from families of low income at no charge. Founded by Milton and Catherine Hershey in 1909, the school educates more than 2,000 students and is expanding to serve 2,300. Every aspect of the program, from food, clothing and medical care to housing and extracurricular activities, is provided cost-free. To help students achieve a brighter future, MHS delivers state-of-the-art technology, hands-on learning, internship opportunities and global studies, along with an award-winning Career/Technical Education program. In addition to high expectations classroom learning, students also achieve growth from an enriching home life curriculum that focuses on leadership and character.
